Dr. Sameer Tatavarty manages all general cardiology conditions but is passionate about optimising quality of life for patients with heart failure and valvular conditions. He has a special interest in cholesterol management, echocardiography and preventative medicine.
He completed his specialist cardiologist training at the Prince Charles Hospital and then at the Gold Coast University Hospital. He is a published academic researcher and an associate lecturer at the University of Queensland School of Medicine.
Dr. Tatavarty is proficient in Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE), Trans-oesophageal echocardiography (TOE) and treadmill stress testing +/- TTE support.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Queensland after attaining his bachelors in Hons. Biopharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Ottawa in Canada.
