Dr Tellam has a special interest in both Type I and Type II diabetes but enjoys managing all other adult endocrine disorders including thyroid, pituitary, adrenal and calcium disorders.

She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Queensland and has achieved dual specialist training in Endocrinology and Obstetric Medicine at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Dr Tellam has additional involvement in medical teaching and is an examiner for the University of Queensland Medical School. Dr Tellam has co-authored a chapter in an international medical textbook (Global Library of Women’s Medicine) and published articles in various Medical journals. She is currently completing a Master’s Degree at Griffith University looking at ketones in pregnancy and has a public appointment at Gold Coast University Hospital.

When she gets a spare moment Dr Jane enjoys being outdoors. She is an avid hiker and mountain bike rider.
