Professor Jayasinghe is head of the Cardiology Department at Gold Coast University Hospital & Bond University. He has extensive experience as an Interventional cardiologist. He is also an academic researcher in the field of Cardiology worldwide and he has a lot of medical papers, researches & articles in different medical magazines/ journals. His recent cardiology book has been published for the public. Prof. Rohan Jayasinghe is an interventional and general cardiologist working in the public as well as the private sector on the Gold Coast.

He is attached to Gold Coast University Hospital, Gold Coast Private Hospital, Pindara Hospital and John Flynn Hospital where he provides inpatient care as well as angiography, angioplasty/ stenting, PFO & ASD closure and right heart studies. He is proficient in Trans Thoracic Echocardiography (TTE) and Trans-Oesophageal Echo (TOE). He earned his medical degree from the University of Sydney with 1st class honours. He went on to also complete his Master of Sports Medicine and PhD in Cardiac Research at University of NSW. He completed his Cardiology training in Sydney and Newcastle & his Interventional Cardiology Training in New York/ USA.
