Dr Biyanka Jaltotage

Dr Biyanka Jaltotage is a Multimodality Imaging and General Cardiologist. A graduate from the University of Western Australia with Honours, Dr Jaltotage completed his cardiology training in Perth, Western Australia. Dr Jaltotage has expertise in addressing all cardiac symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath and palpitations. His special interest is in non-invasive imaging with echocardiography, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI.

In addition to his clinical work Dr Jaltotage is actively involved in advancing the field of Cardiology globally with his academic work, and he has almost 20 publications. He speaks at both international and national conferences, and has been a finalist for Prizes at these conferences. In 2020 he was awarded a Research Fellowship from the Western Australian government and currently he holds the position of Editorial Fellow for the Heart, Lung and Circulation journal, the leading Cardiology journal in Australia. Dr Jaltotage continues to work in Fiona Stanley Hospital, a public hospital with the largest cardiac centre in Perth, Western Australia. He remains dedicated to mentoring and teaching junior doctors and medical students, contributing to the next generation of medical professionals.

Telehealth consultations are performed with the patient onsite at Flow Health with a nurse present. This allows us to provide Dr Jaltotage with an ECG and patient observations such as blood pressure, height and weight, as well as any additional clinical information or measurements he requires to provide a high quality and comprehensive consultation. Consultations are available without any wait times.
