New Patients

We look forward to welcoming you to our clinic, please find below some helpful information in order to prepare for your visit.

Referral

A referral from your doctor will be required to access a rebate from Medicare for your test. It is helpful if you are able to forward a copy of your referral prior to the appointment to ensure we have booked you for the correct test or appointment.

There is the option of emailing or faxing that to us or your doctor may have already sent it through to us directly.  Alternatively, please bring your referral form with you to your appointment on the day.

Patient Registration

Once you’ve been booked for your appointment you will be sent a link to our Patient Portal to securely complete your details. Your patient portal is also the preferred way for us to share requests and results with you securely.

Medications

Please bring a written list of your current medications and doses.

Previous Heart Investigations

Please advise us at the time of booking if you’ve had heart investigations elsewhere within the last two years. This may affect your Medicare rebate if the test is being repeated.

Blood Tests

It is very helpful if you can bring copies of any recent blood tests (in particular cholesterol results). If not please advise reception of which Pathology Company completed the blood test and we can access them prior to your appointment if required.
